As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Gotta love the Husky community!Kevin2735, Bring it by the shop. It's under warranty, we can take care of it for you.

Sorry this took so long, but have been busy working and riding. The cause for the blown fuse were wires for the rectifier that were pinched underneath the battery. My 630 had only six hundred miles at the time this happened, so I am guessing that when the bike was assembled they ran the wires incorrectly. This short seems to have blown up the speedo so the dealer has a replacement for me but will take two more weeks to get. When I picked up my bike, the dealer told me everything was fixed but when I got one block away noticed the speedo was still inop. A brief test ride would have shown this, so I was a little frustrated about that. Otherwise, the dealer support has been good, they warrantied everything and put the new sprocket bolts and clutch push rod on for me. If you haven't done so, I would check those wires near or under your battery and make sure they aren't pinched.
I have been having a problem with my battery voltage dropping as I ride and after 20 or so miles my bike will refuse to start. I pulled the battery and found that I had the same issue as you did with the improperly routed harness. My red wire was chewed through and one of the yellow wires needed some TLC as well.
After I fixed that issue and charged my battery, the battery still discharges about .01v every 15 seconds or so.
I'm stumped and starting a new thread.
