• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Steering Damper Sale - Cafehusky special

I can do some kits for the 07 and older but am short some inventory at this time for that kit.

No on the stupid IMS tank deal. If George will sell you his clamp separately you could use it with my damper and I'll knock off the frame clamp from our kit.

- Sorry, did not mean to ignore anyone. Email to Motosportz if your are interested in moving forward is best.

Thanks

For anyone that might still be on the fence:

I got one of these dampers the other day. It has brought a tear to my eye. Although it doesn't matter, it is beautiful to behold. Beyond that, it's performance is staggering**************************************** A. because it does it's job, and does it well. B. Because it raised my bars up... I didn't realize what I was missing. I can now EASILY stand. I have FAR better control than ever before. I love this thing********************************************************************************

NOTE: on the bar raising deal, the instructions said to remove the factory spacers and replace them with the damper mount. The bolts were long enough, so I left them there. I wanted all the height I could get. It's perfect for me! I'm 6'2".

Kelly,
Have you designed a damper for our 2010 TXC 250's?

In process, Hoping right at the first of the year. Hard to get stuff done right now with all the holiday stuff and people gone.

Nice  Glad you like it. We worked hard on it and did a lot of testing to get the internals right. We also upgraded the main shaft seal system a little over a year ago and it has been 100% reliable.

thanks for the kind words.

Parts not available. Will sale last until the parts are available. I have my money under my pillow for this damper :)

Special Still Good?

So you are still offering the special?

I am new to Husky with a brand new ’09 TE450.
I want one of your dampers and also your disc guards, both front and rear. Should I just order thru your site; and is there a place to mention this there?

Are the 05 Model bit n pieces available?

To confirm, my 05 is practically the same as the 07. I notice some people say they have 05 but its the 04, 100 years anniversary model.

+1 still interested in one for my 07TE250

+2 for my 2005 TC250 (which really is a 2005). I have bar risers and really want an under bar mount.
