  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Morning chaps.

Im after a new set of sprockets and chain for my wr125.
Just wondering if sprickets from other size/model bikes fit..

Im in the uk and after a 52 rear... Preferably steel outer ally centre but all steel will do.

Cheers.

racespec.co.uk do Supersprox items at £39.99
GasGas /suzuki dr items fit as well
Husky Sport stocks them for around the same money if you do a bit of begging
Had nothing but good luck with the supersprox items and have run one all year in some horrific conditions and have only adjusted the chain once since fitting

I could be wrong, but I remember being in Bill's Husky and I THINK they told me most rear husky sprockets are all the same, except before mid 90s or something of that nature. I also this there was one model that was an exception, but please look further into this before just buying.

I only have experiences with supersprox (full aluminum) and do run fine.
I don't see the need for steel ones on a 125 set up its not that you snapping of teeth in a short time

I run roughly about 60 to 80 hours on a set up depending on how much I dive in the rock quarry to play around.

I have the supersprox bi metal on my 300 and it has worn out two chains and CS sprockets. Worth the coin IMO. I have the supersprox all aluminum on my 144 and it looks fine after 10hrs. A little cheaper than the bimetal sprox.
