• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Sprint Enduro

Going to try. I actually need to ride for work tomorrow so not sure if I'll have time to prep for the race. At least we might come watch. Got my Enduro card though. Just found out I got moved up to Yellow

Is anybody doing the Lost Coyotes Sprint Enduro this weekend? I hope to have my husky back from Zip Ty...I don't want to have to run my CR 500

Our club will be running test 2 this year on 100% virgin single track. It's all covered with snow and supposed to get rain again this week so it's gonna be cool and moist.

Sucks to miss this event (we will be at Tecate Enduro) because that Anza area is epic in around Cahuilla and into where the old Ryno Land/The Ranch was. Had one of my best rides ever on my 2008 TXC450 up there. Raced SEN B would have finished 3rd SEN A by test times , immediately moved myself up to the A class after that event and did not see a podium for a long time!
From all the 450 Italian Huskys I have seen among ammies in our zone, ZipTy Racing machines are different story. Mine was bar none the best set up with all the right bullet proofing and race ready stuff on it. That's about as aggro as this guy gets, I was super pumped that day.
It is still in the family at National City Motorcycles.

Hope everybody enjoyed the race...it was a wet one. I was sending everybody off on Loop 1. Standing out in the rain all day...good times. I look forward to this series growing, I love the format.

We were taking care of the end of 1 and starting 2. A few of us went and hit test 2&3 in the morning before the race started. They were fun and made up for sitting in the cold all day. The road getting out should have been dubbed special test 4. It was slippery and nasty.

hahahahahaha....that's a fact.....Grabow's Tow Service was runnin overtime pullin people out

Yep, it seemed like a good idea to send everyone out the other way towards the casino. I was watching people drift motorhomes trying to get speed for the last hill. I decided to hit the regular road instead after hearing rigs were getting stuck. I gladly spent $17 at the self service car wash removing the mud before heading home.
