• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Spectro Z Clean Chain Lube (aaa+!!)

robertaccio

Husqvarna
Pro Class
I just a comp can to check out. So far this stuff is the S%&T! No ride check yet(so why the excitement?), Goes on great, wipes good, ready to ride 2 moro. Not all sticky and or thick, a very dry film type lube. Been a fan of the local NE Spectro products from back in my LI NY days, but have used the local SW Maxima products for years, with this stuff I will most likely be using at least this Spectro product, it looks real good.

Maxima has great products ! I'm going to try motorX next, been using only maxima for years but after talking with a sales rep for maxima he told me motorX is 2nd to none.... MotorX has by far the best facilities , labs and quality control ( he has been to switzerland and toured US facilities) maxima he ranked top U.S. Product.... I know golden spec hands down makes awesome products too.... As far as chain lube the rep pointed me to motorX... I have been 100% happy with both types of lube clearguard being the best but wax is cleaner and works great too... It's maxima or motorX , wich ever is cheaper..... Let us know how the stuff holds up, I always carry chain lube on the trail, sucks being so meticulous !

Hey all this wasn't meant as a what chain lube do we all use thread ( no hard feelings "just sayin"). It was just inform thread.
Just letting Y'all know about this stuff, some will never use it, some will try and not like it I know that. I have used other Spectro chain lubes, Maxima, Kalgard, other options like WD40 and other oils and other brand chain lubes.
For me after one day on the trail this stuff puts all my other pit box chems on the shelf. R

PS the TE310 gets better and better with every ride (or should I say I get better on the 310 every time I climb on)

Sorry, was just sharing as i was amazed at the stuff.

- BTW ride my buddies uncorked 310 a lot, nice bike for sure.
