• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
Pro Class
I drove it maybe 200 miles in the last 3 years, i loved racing the 1/4 and picking races against mild Vipers or Vettes on street drags only nights. Well the track closed as the city got too big and the track was no longer outside of the city.
long story cut short i bought a bike when that happend.
1 bike leads to another :)
Tried to get out and with car buds, way too boring so i was trying to sell it.
I got so many low ballers all summer and then i posted this pic on facebook.

1 friend is shocked i still got it, he thought price was fair and a fast car..
another friend was like WHAT,,,,, how much??? sold that minute.
for the asking price over the phone.

So i got my garage space looking very sweet.

When I had my drag car I could never leave the car anywhere. When in a bar it had to be parked we're I could see it. I was constantly with it. It just wasn't worth it.

You need to separate the male and female husky dogs. There breeding........lmao

Hi 86 400,

Hi Bill,

Yes, that was my problem as well,

too many bloody thieves around.

The car was just a millstone around my neck.

I lost mine from behind locked gates, in a locked shed with a car alarm.

They lifted both gates off the hinges together, so more than 1 person, don't know how they opened the shed.

They must have known about the alarm, so someone I knew and they just smashed it with a hammer.

I had had a heavy night on the grog, so no waking me!

They locked the shed, put the gates back on, and I didn't think to check the shed for days.

The car I have now, I jump out, don't even bother locking it, windows down, don't care!

Much better car to own.

With the Husky when finished riding, it is behind locked gates, in a locked shed behind house, disc lock, cable lock.

Dogs on guard!

I sleep like a baby!

I tell you what, if I ever catch anyone,

when they wake up they will be tied down on a concrete floor on a farm in the middle of nowhere

with their balls in a vice, never to be seen again!

You WILL suffer like I suffered when I lost my 350 Monaro.

It's not gonna be pretty!

Stealing a mans ride or car, should be the death penalty, just like the old days!

I kept a double barrel 12 ga near where I slept. I'm a light sleeper. When I had my race car. Today the dog is on guard. Nothing comes in the yard.

justintendo,

Is that on your bike?

Funny thing with all the security, I don't take the key out of the ignition on my bike.

:)

no, thats on my vehicles usually..altho sometimes my keys are in my bike in the garage..i guess i live in one of those areas where its rare to have something stolen..but just a habit ive had. if i leave to shopping or whatever the car gets locked, lol

86 400 XC,
Love seeing those Huskys lined up. You got your priorities right!

And, more room now without the Mustang taking up space! Can't wait to see the next Husky you rescue... :)
