• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

So I did it

After much contenplating i decided to buy another Husky ---

I already have a 2009 TE 610 and a 450TE --so after much debate and confusion i decide to buy --Another 610Te --Did a transfer and told the dealer i will pay the rest at the end of the month when i pick her up--In The CRATE -- i will store her for a while and when the time is right --i will put her together lovingly and --maybe --just maybe sell my present one --

Was looking at the 630te --but alas i am not sold on it --

Just love my 610 Te and it is by far the best DS bike i have ever ridden and i dont want to one day say ---i should have -could have --and did not buy another one while i still could ---

They just grow on me --evertime i ride them --

What a boytjie Blazes , now you have enough 610 wheels for 10+ years.
If you do the math on this one you will realise that 610 + 610 > 610 + 630 , and thats a fact

PS: Thanks for buying out the 610, that leaves an extra 630 unit in stock and an easy descision as what TE I should pair up with my SM630. :D:D

Cornering the 610 market Huh. I would like your view on why the 630 do not cut it for you. I have a TE 310 and a Multistrada (got the st and touring covered) but need a bike for real DS and its either a 610 or 630 for me this year.
