  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

my bike suddenly lost spark,when I check flywheel was broken and around pick-up coil was some thin plate of course
wrinkly.now i need new flywheel off course this one is damaged,who know some place to bay on line or maybe aftermarket flywheel ,and how much can be new?
 
Hmmmm... what year bike? I'm not too familiar with where to get things in Europe or Montenegro - or ebay.


The corporate site lists this dealer for Croatia and Montenegro, maybe?

year 2007,I bought bike ther but they do not hawe in shop flywheel need to be ordered and in that case need to wait maybe 1-2 months,and I want to ride soon as posiblle :) .I am concerned why that happend and if I mount new how to know won't hapend again.thank anyway

If it were me I'd post up a picture and send a link to Motoxotica and Husky Sport (name on cafe husky) and ask if they had any ideas. There are many threads and they may not have noticed this one.
 
Flywheel failure on SM510 (or TE510 as it is the same part) isn't a common problem - excessive vibration from a worn main bearing could cause it but it may well just be an isolated component failure.

thank's Dave:thumbsup:,my friend went to Grece yesterday and he will check there if they have in shop,if I do not find nothing I will let you know.I have address in texas where I can receive mail (do you have any idea how to check main bearing is it ok or not):confused: . Dado
 
I have a flywheel that appears to have cracked all the glue that I believe holds the magnets in my bike also. Still need to investigate more but that is my knowledge up to this point.
