• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

SM wheel sets ?

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Hi guys, I have some husqvarna supermoto wheel sets I am thinking about selling and have no idea what they are going for these days. What is the going price ? Should I sell the brakes seperately ? Thanks for your help.

Depends on the years they fit and "what" is with them.
I picked up a set of 08 SM450 rims/hubs/bearings, 800 miles on them w/o rotors but w/sprocket 600.00

Go from there.

Rotors, floaters, bolts, etc, another 470.00 "brand new" from the factory.

Used would be WAY less if provided.

I paid 950 for a complete set from an 07 510, rotors, sproket, tires, mint shape. I would not sell them for a dime less than $1200 either.

I got my SM wheel set with a new rear sprocket for $375. They were freshly powder coated and in pristine condition w2ith all new SS spokes. Of course I think I got a smoking deal so I don't know how much that helps with trying to establish a price. There are deals to be had but you have to in the right place at the right time.

Damn, then I way overpaid.............. and I'm still reasonably happy about it. :)

A company here in Sweden sells complete sets with 260mm front discs, 245 rear discs, tyres, bearings and nuts and bolts for about 600 dollars(4300 Swedish crowns). Of course this is a budget alternative, but for street use it´s quite good. Thinking of a set for my WR 300. I have to make my own shims though, but that´s no big job. Made in China i think, but seems to be holding together really good. They say..
