Slick offroad wash

Odered one of their 6 gallon value packs hoping it would do what they claimed, and if Mitch Payton uses it, it must be good, right?

It may make getting heavy mud to loosen up a little bit better, but it got nowhere near the easy spotlessly clean wash with just a hose that they claim.

It works better with a pressure washer, but what dosen't.

I still ended up having to give it a hand job with S100 to get it to my clean standard.

SLICK marketing hype, IMO. I'm not impressed.

Couldn't agree more, the stuff is garbage. Bought 10 packages of it and ended up doubleing up on it to get it to work better. Went back to using the pink wash from cyclegear

I like the orange oil based cleaners like Orange Blast. They do a great job on the oily parts and leave the bike smelling like fresh citrus.

I like the pink wash from cycle gear too coupled with a cheap dish scrubber from the grocery store. It seems to give the matte black stuff a weird finish, though, so I try to avoid getting it on the tank and radiator louvres.

Westley's Bleach White for Tires.

Plus takes care of the tires.

Also spray it on my plastics/use soft scrub on wash rag.

another S100 fan .....
an old school toilet bowl cleaning brush works good around the motor. its an almost perfect design for scrubbing 2t pipes!!

If you mean (is it residue from the detergent?) then probably not. Most likely whats happenening is the detergent is leaching out some of the essential oils in the plastic leaving them with a milky looking finish. Try some armor all or lemon Pledge and see if that helps.

It doesn't last forever, but if you want your old plastic to look new again just try 'Future Floor Polish'
It's amazing

+1 for Shout strain remover. just spray it on and wash it off, no rubbing or scrubbing required. get on sale at target for $2 a bottle.

simple green for me too,the only stuff I found better was a few years ago there used to be a comercial dish washing liquid that was a clear pink in color.I would do about a 50% solution of water and the pink stuff it worked great on everything from Delaware clay to grease and then sometimes I would spray the bike with mopnglow or pam under the fenders to help keep the mud from sticking

The pink from cyclegear smells just like the stuff at the car wash,I wonder if it is the same stuff

OK, I bashed this stuff in the begining, but after using it for almost a year I have found that it does help remove heavy mud, much like Mud-off. I really don't get a great cleaning with just a hose as they suggested, but it speeds up the cleaning when there is a lot of mud.

Stiil, to get my bike really clean, as in detailed clean, I'm using the S100 after the SLICK wash, some elbow grease and a power washer.

Not really much different than I orginally posted, but after re-ordering last might I was feeling a little hypocritical about my post.

Now I feel better.

CT18 truckwash (In Ausssie that is, don't know if you have it in the states??) works great, spray it on, leave it for 10 min or so and hose it off (pressure washer works better, comes up like new.)
