• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

    Thanks for your patience and support!

Sinisalo Jacket from Motosportz

Jerulator

Husqvarna
AA Class
Worked a deal with Kelly up at Motosportz, I'll just say that I have acquired one of their fine "Sinisalo" Tech jackets. Have not used it for riding yet, but I can say that the fit and finnish of the jacket is #1. I WAS using another brand enduro type jacket (starts with a T and ends with an hor) which is a fine jacket, but this Sinisalo is definately several steps above that in every aspect (comfort, functionality, even style). Give them a thought when considering a new or replacement enduro jacket (no I don't get paid or anything from Motosportz). Thanks Kelly

Nice jacket! :thumbsup:

Here is the theory of where things should go - link:
Husqvarna Bikes (Bikes & Accessories) -> Discussions: These are for Husqvarna bikes & things that attach to the Husqvarna bikes, that would probably be of interest to the average person 2 years from now.
...

No big deal (at all) but I'll move it over to the General forum.

Thx Woodsie. I was about to say something like that but. But I'm glad you spoke up. For a guy to say "I want to see you in the jacket to another guy...well lets just say it sounds better coming from you.

:lol::lol:

I got some protective pads through Scorpion for this. Elbow and shoulder fit OK, back protector would need to be trimmed.

O that is sick ! :applause::applause::applause:
(I mean the jacket, not you HuskyDude…) :busted:

Now what would be the chances of us street people getting something like that (for the street) :thinking:

:thumbsup:

Thanks Dean !

Sure wish we could get some of the other Sinasalo gear here stateside. They have a jacket I'd like. KTM has one in the UK, my buddy got one last time he was there. But it's orange!

Finally got to use the jacket today. I really like it better than my old jacket. It's very flexible and has tons of pockets. Has not made me ride any better but I do look better and faster !

So you got the Sinisalo?

I love mine, and it goes good with my Sinisalo Husky pants and Jersey too.:D
