• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

sold her tonight.... will miss her.. My first Husky.. Now I have the 125 (soon to be a 144) to keep me company.

One of these days you'll be mixing some gas and a tear will come to your eye.... Or else you'll need to run down to the grocery store and the only vehicle you own that runs is your 2 stroke. Do you risk the ticket...??

I already know I need a 4 stroke saving for a new 250f (after the 144 kit and larger tank) thinking a txc with a headlight (think they are pre wired ? not sure....

That bike was exactly what I am looking for...wonder if you know of anyone else wanting to sell theirs...It was a beauty!!

Wow, that was a good looking bike you sold!! But I sold mine and now have a wr125 and a wr144. No regrets way way faster on the 144 or the 125 then I was on the 4-stroke. And my 125 has a minnesota title and plate!! (mso does not state off road use only) I know it is still not really legal. But where I live, it will work! Good luck with the little mixer! Only thing I found was the stock fork did not work at all for me. Had the f and r lowered and revalved, now it is good! If I live to be old enough someday I may buy another husky 4-stroke just to be fully streetlegal. Good luck with the bike and keep us posted on how it works for ya.

I feel you, just let my much loved 2010 TXC250 go to build funds for the 2011 TEi511. I also have a 144 to keep me happy. :D
