• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

So this weekend looked like nasty rain. It pretty much was. looking for a place to ride we rolled the dice on an area I had not ridden in several years. Kind of more a family camp and ride area, nothing real epic as i remembered. We kinda of were on the fence about going at all feeling it was going to be wet and slick and ugly. Never stopping us befopre buddy Joe was the only taker one interested. We left late at 10:30 and headed over the hill. Nasty rain, black sky, rain gear packed. We get over the hill and the sun is pepping out as we get closer. Not 10 miles back it looked real bad. We get to the staging area and 65 and sunny****************************************! How lucky are we? Then proceed to find 60 miles of great trails. We were so stoked and road until 7:30 and got home at 10:00. Long but very FUN day.

Did not have my regular cam as i figured it would be a rainy mess but fortunately did have my go pro in my pack and got some vid.

On my 2010 TXC250 this day...

Shes a runner all right. It does have a bit of a stumble and hesitation right off idle. the ECU is going to the dealer today for a reflash and reported much better running, will report.

Nice trails Kelly. Us MT boys need to come visit. I didn't one log jam across the trail. Chris

Plan a trip out here in a month or so and I'll show you the good stuff

Kelly,

I can't talk for the rest of the MT guys but I just took my first full 2 days off since early march. Probably be that long again until I get another 2 day weekend and 2 days just isn't enough to drive 600 miles one way, 350 miles was pushing it but well worth it. Maybe Myron can make it out with Chris and some others. He needs to get away and just ride for 3 days or so.

Walt

Would love it Kelly but the next couple of months look pretty well spoken for. But if a chance comes up you we'll be callin!! Chris
