• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

low participation race......however most excellent trail system @ 6 mile loops did 4 loops stayed on lead lap,local fast lad Grant Statley won OA, great Tecate trails, perfect Tecate Enduro training. Took home another non-proud 1st place 50+ Open trophy...
 
bonus when I got home there was a box for me, it is my 8th Super Senior trophy from the Los Ancianos Sprint Enduro, so I got 2 trophies this weekend, the 8th place much more difficult to achieve from 47 in class.
 
low turnout......is upsetting for all the talkers around here. that small group of puerta mx puts on a great event . we rode alot of "tecate" trails for this one and my pipe is once again a disaster from the rock gaRDENS---GREAT STUFF.
 
here I am in my lazy sit down ride mode, most of this race I was on the seat, this was for sure a standing position ride zone up into a steep chute smooth rock section....I think the tall seat has me more lazy because its roomy and comfortable...... form is good but I should have been on the pegs here. Pre Start under the oaks in the shade and yes this section was water trucked....along with the continuing section in the above foto.
I gave the 5 5 at first because it was my 55th B day, but I went to 5 0 because I think its best to what class we are in not the true age...........
PS this color scheme is out of production now but the FLY mesh stuff is so good.
