• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Romaniacs 2013

I so love this stuff King of the Moto, Last dog standing, More on the way here in the USA I just wish I could go to romaniacs

Just checked, Letti in 4th but less than 3min separates 2nd(Gomez) 3rd(Walker) 4th(Letti) Letti rode from last service to finish w/o kickstarter!!

thanks Robert I needed to hear that Anyway I will keep trying I always say the view from last place is better then from the side lines
He'll yeah it is :). Although I have to admit...I didn't really think I would be last out of the people that finished my race...lol. Sell some t shirts and raise money for it, I'd buy a few ;). Robs old ass is just bitter right now lol

Last year at my club's enduro, we ran an AA/A only section. It had some very technical rocky creek beds going downhill, technical hills up and down and lots of off camber. All ridable (I can do it) , but hard to keep a speed average, as even top guys were losing points. An A rider told me he always wanted to do Erzberg or another Extreme Enduro, until he rode that section!

I would love to do it. Some day when I have money, skill, and get back into shape I'm good to go lol. Seriously though, I would do it. I really want to get to the US versions. That course sounds really great that you went to Norman. We should all set up an extreme enduro in our respective areas and then start a series :)

Norman....Speedsville was always good for some real nice slippery rocky creek beds and it was wet the times I rode it.

Raced Speedvville many years and it can be tufff when a torential downfall hits climbing the off camber mountain with a river flowing down on you is kinda different. Love that race, gives the real enduro riders a chance.

8cba5d214c5f756cb3dfba3d009c9a8f_L.jpg Red Bull Romaniacs: Yesterday was tough for Letti and Altus. Letti lost the coolant of his WR300 and had to slow down. He brought the bike safely to the finish and remained in 3rd position. Altus De Wet damaged his bike heavily in several crashes but also he was able to finish the day and keep his 15th position.
