  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Rebuild a pancake pipe?

Topped up the radiator put some fresh fuel in, put in a 40 pjet (had a 45)checked every nut and bolt that I had touched and all that I hadn't,t and took for a quick blast up the road.
All good started 3rd kick, bit high on the idle, way better response from down low, no midrange bog and no escaping smoke and power from the bent header.
So gotta get a chain for one of the kids 85 and we are hitting the forestry next Sunday for a bloody good clean out!!
brrrrrrrraaaaaaap!!

Wow what a huge difference a fitting pipe makes...
Actually held it wide open top gear for about 500 meters and it sounded friggen perfect., no lean pinging or nocking.
Happy days
Until I rode my mates 14 6days 300 and hit the same wide open section and clicked up to sixth gear and it pulled harder than a teenager. Honestly it has more power over the whole range.... And still on the mild pv springs
But he can only catch me on the flat open stuff.

I live in the Seattle area and take my smashed and bent pipes to Gary Turner in Lynnwood. $40 per pipe. No tax. Quick turnaround. Give him a call. He's an old retired dirt biker that does pipe repair on the side at his home. Nice guy and does good work. 425.774.3082.

Great to know. Thanks for sharing!
