  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

KTM has been offering $1000 off many of their models for a few2 weeks. Anyone know if Husky is going to be offering any rebates on the 2014's this year?
 
They are way overpriced to begin with. 10k + for a dirtbike. No way. Better to have cash in hand, buy some one year off bike some guy put bling on and swoop in for the kill for 1/3 rd off or more
 
Even with the 1000k rebate I bought my 501 for less than a 500xcw. I doubt they'll run a rebate first year but you never know.
 
where are these incentive/rebates for Husqvarna posted..? Im getting and want 2 te 300 and fe350. and trading in my bikes. Going this Saturday.

Just heard this weekend from my dealer that there will be rebates on remaining 2014 models. So IF you find one there will be a rebate coming,,, now try finding a FE350!
 
So far these have just been incentives to the DEALER, which they may or may-not pass on to you; hence my comment that its a good time to know your dealer. Ive noticed some nice discounts tags hanging on bikes at Bill's in Salem, which include those incentives.

Good deal! Should be about 9k OTD. Jump on it:thumbsup: After getting a great price on my 501 I wonder if my dealer got some kind of factory deal since it was in the ball park of what is being offered now.
