I had my trusty 08 wr 125 sold so I took the 165 kit off ( keeping that ) and put back on a near new 125 top end . Done cylinder change a few times but I was a bit blaze' about it maybe
Well l I learnt a lesson the hard way . I either didn't seat the circlip well enough or re-using the circlips was a bad idea.
Riding the bike slowly up the road it all came un stuck .

Luckily some of the good people on this web site were willing to help and I had a few options . Ive got a replacement on its way at a very fair price from Walt . Thanks Walt
It looks like a fairly long - 30mm piece is embedded vertically into the cylinder and there was about 7mm loose above the piston - so it was scraped up the side.
My only concern at the moment is making sure there isn't any circlip in the bottom end .
I will measure the remains but not 100% sure at the moment what happened to the other clip
I don't want to have to do is again or sell a problem .
I am wondering about removing the motor to turn it upside to flush it out .
It seems to be moving ok .
Any tips ?
Apart from get a mechanic to do it next time
or suggestions of a 177 kit
thanks
