• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Rattlesnake National Enduro

I'll b there, just an old slow c50+ rider on row 92. lol. Coming up from Fl to some old stomping grounds. Picking up a WR300 on the way up. Gonna be a great vacation.

I will be there, praying for rain. I think I'm on row 44 which is a whole lot better than 113 I had at the Sandlapper.

Or you may keep them from cruise and put them into attack mode..:applause:

Rain up in that area is like Florida.. At some time between Saturday and Sunday it will rain.. Course holds up real well with any weather.
Great campgrounds. Chow, Carl

I am entered but will not be attending. It is a holiday weekend in Canada and the warden did not seem impressed that I was going to an enduro instead of going to the family cottage with our girls. It will be a great ride.

Leaving Saturday AM early. Its a little more than 3 hours for us including the border crossing at Buffalo. I know I might get flammed for this but my 08 WR 250 has been a great bike but I want to try both the 250 and 300 e start Husabergs they are going to have at Saturday's demo rides.

Might be interested in an upgrade for next season and go to the dark side.

Still looking forward to racing my Husky on Sunday. Glad I took a short 2 hour loop of technical local trail with a few buddies last Sunday am. I have not ridden in a couple of weeks, (too hot and Lake Erie was too flat not to run the boat for a couple of weekends) but I felt good after that little warm up ride.

Leaving minute 48. I hope they get a bit more rain. Pretty dusty the last time I rode the Rattlesnake. Fun, but the final time on the grass track was like riding in a dust cloud.

They got about a 1" of rain in Crossforks.. so of our other regions of Pa got 5" and the ground was like a big old sponge..

Clayfan.. Been thru many of them like that up there but usually at days end..

Morning dew and usual over nite sprinkles keeps the dust atbay in the AM session

Dwight.. your going to love the event and if the NEPG was giving out a"NATIONAL ENDURO OF THE YEAR" award this area and club would get it..

Chow, Carl

Can't wait. leaving in a few hours. There will be four of us from FTR all on different rows, lol. Hoping it rains some more..........

Well, I really sucked there. Worse finish that I have had all year. Even Drew Smith didn't do as well as I figured. Drew even caught me in the 2nd section. All the guys on my row were fast. Dust was terrible. None of my sections were good. Even when I thought I rode OK. Sie la vie

Had a fun day on row 92, it was dusty, but the 300 worked pretty good. i just picked it up Wednesday, the suspension was NOT rock-ready,(leaky fork seal also) softened it up some, and the jetting wasnt perfect but still ended up with 4th C50+, good enuff for a plaque.......Actually havent ridden since end of May, so no complaints here....

I didn't fall all day but it was dusty and technical. I like technical normally but for some reason this didn't agree with me. Oh, Well......................

Pleasure meeting you at our trailer Saturday nite and out on the loop on Sunday Vinduro.

I agree, I've had better rides. I was 4th fastest in the 1st test but must have been spooke by the rocks in the second test and fell to 15th fastest in that one. From there on my day was a slow climb up to 8th in class. A little more effort on my part in the last test would have probably got me to 7th or 6th but after waiting around for 45 minutes for my minute to come up I sort of lost interest i guess
