    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Race Map II when powered up?

Ok, but how i can see that the ecu is with changed map after jumper installed. Should it be any inscription appear on the dash panel.
Also i want to put the bike at full power.
what is need to do.
The bike is te 449 2011, i read that the stock map for 2012 is better than 2011. Who can help me to change the map. The bike is in Bulgaria and we do not have dealer here. I`m able to send the ecu to USA, but i don`t know who can re-flash it.
If i instal the 480cc piston and cylinder will gain more torque and power.
Did the Procircuit full exhaust is a nice system.

Sorry for this questions but this is my firts Husky and here in Bulgaria are only few.
Also there is huge differences from my previous XR650R
 
Yes, the bike SHOULD show Race Map i or Race Map II as you toggle back and forth on the switch. It's to the right in the dash panel.
 
It will show Race Map II on the dash when activated. The 478cc jug gives you about 4.5 hp, but is pretty expensive if you have to buy the parts new.

Do you know what is full power with 449cc and 478cc, in stock mode and with race map 2 activated.
Also is it need to reflash my ECU with 2012 map for more power or it is pointless when race map 2 is activated with 2011 software version
 
I just did it last sunday...just a plain wire, pin one to pin two...
you can see it on the wiring diag...says Race Map II on the dash...

My KTM 350 XCF has 3 modes...Each mode used a different resistor...

I just get 2011 Husky TE449
With not Lafranconi or Akrapovic exhaust pipes what was in stock, but qith Leo Vince X3
So can somebody show on the photos or on the drawings where must be that jumper installed???
All I can understand that it is situated under the seat and under the ECU

So, I need to order that special "jumper" from the Husky dealer or I can do it by myself ? )
If I need to order it just will take a little time for me, because I will order it from Europe
 
So now I'm near my Husky
Opened the seat
Near ECU
I found few wires and one of them was just cutted, so I yhink that this is what I need. Am I right?
Red circle
Also there is two connectors one which situadet near red circle must be diag connector and what is other??

So after my last post here, I've made two rides only.
And there where no "Race Map II" on the dash.
What I've done wrong?
1- disconnect CO-sensor
2- Under the seat find switch (in my case it was just two wires as described above) connect them together.
3- Start bike
And there were no "Race Map II" on the dashboard.
Any comments?
