• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Glen Helen is getting ready for the Outdoor Nationals coming up on May23rd.

As such, Don's track was amazing today. Very High speed, ... a lot of earthwork in front of the grand stands, great MX layout, double bermed lanes, nice long step ups , couple of big tables, all of the layout aimed for speed speed speed. Even had a 1/4 mile of pavement**************************************** and the best thing was a fifth gear wide open set of singles with flat landings very reminiscent of Saturdays Supercross....

I absolutely used every millimeter of travel in my suspension today.... ( Thanks LES/LTR)

My TC450 performed flawlessy. I had 17 bikes on my line and pulled my first Glen Helen Holeshot**************************************** I am stoked**************************************** Gave it up briefly and swapped first place back and forth with the same dude for the first lap and a half.......held second place for a couple of laps and after 6 hard fought laps I faded back to third or fourth only on the 6th and final lap.... battling and swapping positions time after time.... 6 long fast 3.5 mile laps . I have honestly never kept up this level of pace for an hour...

I had one dude come up to me after the race and congratulate me on the dueling I had going on with one of his buddies....

Chazlom (2006 TC450) TT /GPKings was also there racing on the Novice line and had a great race as well....:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Can you tell???.....I'm just a little bit pumped about today's race****************************************

That's what racing's all about, and that's the stuff that makes it really fun! Sounds like you got your money's worth :)
