• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

August 7th and 8th up in Hancock NY.

I'm going up with some others on Friday the 6th and planning on riding both days.

If you've never been to it, it's a great weekend of riding.:applause:

I will be there for both days also. This is one of the best dual sports I have ever ridden and I look forward to it every year.

Leaving CT about 10AM. Should be arriving 1-2PM.

Looks like a good group of my club are coming up.:applause:
A bunch of KTM's ,2 Honda's,a Husaberg,and maybe a Gas Gas. I'm the lone Husky.

Brown and tan RV with a 3 rail trailer. Maybe I'll meet some of you.

I'm planning on going for Sunday.
Does anyone know if they are setting it up to be able to refuel?
They can't really expect us to be able to go 100 miles on a tank :excuseme:

That was a fun ride, I look forward to doing it again next year.
And yes, to answer my question about refueling. There was a stop at a gas station. I left an almost full quart of Sunoco premix in case someone needed it
If anyone has the mileage to the gas stop please let me know.
I used only 1.3 gallons... I've heard mid thirty to fifty miles.
Just want to get an idea of my MPG's

I had 37 miles at the Sunoco.

It was a great ride as usual. Weather was perfect. Bike ran great all day (both days). Couldn't ask for anything more!
