    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Title sponsored by Veys Powersports San Diego---The best game in the SoCal/ Tecate zone for HS/GNCC/XC racing(riding). I consider these events short closed course GNCC type events. Usually end up with no more than 50 miles on the clock, 2-3 hours doing multi loops of the closed (safe) course. Courses have traditionally been just under 10 miles in length (7-10). Great environment spectator friendly for your fans/crew, fun Mexico flavor all within 1 hour and way less close to the Tecate border. 3 this spring and the series final in the fall.

2nd Place 55+ Open. They say second place is the first loser...I say to hell with that as I stand on the podium in 2nd the guy on the top step is LR, yes that guy.

Also some one really needs to school me on the go-pro thing. I turned it on just before my start and it ran until just before the real course began,and quit. so I got the initial start and through the transponder gate onto the road that led into the start of the trail......so although I did pipe it on the road, it showed zero trail, rocks, trees, bushes...obstacles....etc.

Puerta MX decision due to lack of 55+ entries will combine so we will have 45+ Open, BTW this is my 57th year, so now the competition will be heavier and with 2 Husky Legends Joining the fun this weekend. I for one will have my hands full.......Roeseler YAM YZ450FX and LaPorte HSQ TX300 (yes that guy) a real moto legend race and ammie me racing in their class hahahaaa.
Danny says he needs practice for the ISDE legends of offroad race in Italy coming up soon. I will try my best to work that old dude for Café Husky glory!! LR is now Rekluse equipped so he will be harder to catch a tow with when his clutch hand doesn't need as much work. too much fun Temecucoastie donde esta cabron andale el pueblo magico!!! And of coure Mr. FMF Don will be there as well. Hopefully some day John K will cross that walled border and come south again.

fun stuff , still laughing at Don Emeer (FMF Boss) and amazed that I actually finished ahead of Danny the door.... (I never said I beat him), he made a clean pass on me on one of the short dirt road sections, pinned in a complete bar lock power slide on his TX300.....he later got all caught in the spider web of a big manzanita bush so I got back ahead of him.
 
Final Race of the series 20 OCT 2018 coming fast- Get In!! all new location near Jacume east of Tecate.
I need to show...I'm leading the small but competitive 50+ Open class over LR ( he missed 1 event). hope for some moisture.
 
OK so last race was cancelled/postponed due to land use issues. So on 26JAN2019 the final race will take place in my favorite valley at El Chale Rancho south of Tecate, minutes from the border.

GET IN. I will be making my weak comeback no matter what. Its a double points race and if LR shows he beats me in the season points. If I show he will for sure best me on the course with his Sherco 300SEF French love machine. I need to be there and finish, to take the season cup. PS my back is ruined so It will be a ride as light as possible, stand up game all day long.

ROBERT HAST JUST REPEAT BACK TO BACK SERIES CHAMPIONSHIPS.
HE COULDNT PARTICIPATE ON LAST RACE, LUCKILY LARRY ROESSELER DID NOT RACED EITHER SO THAT HELPED ROBERT KEEP THE CHAMPIONSHIP, BTW. ROBERT MISSED THE LAST RACE DUE TO A BACK INJURY, HOPE YOU GET WELL SOON AMIGO!!
