• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Set in the lowboy position ... Any question feel free to ask ... Only minor modification are needed to use these pegs...

They look like they're tilted a bit towards the back of the bike compared to the factory pegs? or is that just an illusion from the angle of your photo ?

Was thinking that the pedals in red would look good on the Terra. Found the Promoto website. Yep, there they are. In red. ONLY $249.95. That's skid plate and crash bar and pannier rack pricing for a pair of pedals. I'll pass on these.

Yeah I would have rather ha black or red but I bought them from a guy on ADV for $125.... I've had fastway pegs on a couple of my dirt bikes and really liked them so I figured I would try these ..

They are off a GS 650 ... I guess it was blue..

Thanks, I know it was an odd question.
I was hoping perhaps a yamaha or other brand bike had pegs that cross fit to ours.

BTW there is a way to use easy off oven cleaner to remove anodizing.
I used to do it back in my BMX days if I got used parts with colors I did not like.

I have a set on my Beemer but must say that the grub screws make a mess of the instep of your boot over time

Yes they do I had them on other bikes ....I will prob cut 3 lengths of small black fuel line from auto parts store and split them down the middle then zip tie them on for use around town and commuting to work ... Then just snip the zip ties when I go riding off road... Works good to save my tcx dual sport boot soles

Might need to use some standard husky dirtbike pegs.

Thanks for the tip, Kelly. I got my order in for a red set for a Husky. I seem to recall that the BMW 650GS pedals were supposed to be identical to the Terra's but the BMW specific pedal extensions from Zipty are only available in black and silver. If the extensions I ordered for my Terra don't fit, my only recourse may be to visit Bills and buy a bike they will work on. I've got my eye on a WR that looks like it needs a good home. ;);)

Call them for a price....they can strip and recolor. I now they do this as they told me they had a bad batch of them and they striped and recolored.

Please let us know how the Zipty pegs work out. I tried to like Pivot Pegz, but ended up going back to stock. Would love a wider peg, but couldn't get used to the movement of the PPs.
