  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc PRAISE TO THE WBCR165

454x

Husqvarna
Pro Class
The wbcr165 straight RULED THE NORCAL WOODS today! We started at about 3000ft and worked up to about 5000ft in the norcal Sierras. I weigh about 230 geared up and that bike hauled the mail. When I was ripping in the mid range I swear it felt 250 like. Good job Walter!

Damnit do want!

Wish my motor would seize or something to speed things up. Think I've got half a season to go till it needs attention at the soonest.

Every time I read a thread about the WB 165 it tells me this is the ticket when I need to do my top end. This thread just reenforces my desire when that time comes. :)

All I can say is you guys that have the patience to wait......are gonna kick yourselves in the backsides for doing so when you get your own WB165's . Glad you are liking your WB 454x; enjoy.

Well I verbally purchased a 13 WR 125 on Friday just need to go pick it up sometime this week when time permits. Then it's coming home and getting tore down and sent off to Kelly/Walt to do the 165 kit, 200 pipe and lectron carb. And while that is happening I'll do the greasing and everything else maybe even suspension if it needs it for my 210lbs and then be ready to reassemble and ride, ride, ride. I don't have a lot of patience

I did a 95 Miles ISDE here in Oregon of the gnarly stuff... I'm beat, Had rear brake issues about 50% of the race, but I kept shaking my head at how well she runs... I can't believe how smooth this combo is, and it continues to impress me after all this time!
