• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Looks like you're having a ball! I love it when people can at least be a little self-deprecating. Keep hav'in fun!

Yup! I have no delusions of grandeur.
I'm 35 years old. I Started riding too late in life (took a few breaks along the way too). I have the knees of a 70 year old. And I have a kid coming in October (sure to cut into my riding time :)). Therefore, speed does not come easy.

I'm truly blessed to be able to afford this hobby. It's quite an addiction!
We have fun every time we're out.

SuperFastGoodTime!!!

In front of the KTM, yeehaw. Looks like you had a blast
A new baby coming, congrats dude. We have a new six week old in the house
I'm just itchin' for the wife to let me get out and ride, don't want to stress her out asking to go riding quite yet.

Congrats to you too! Keep us posted on your first ride out after the child induced hiatus. Expect blisters and arm-pump.

Looked good and fun to me. Hey don't worry about the little dirt naps we all take them :D. Have fun and thanks for posting up.

Cool video. I have been interested in trying a J-Day event for a while. But, looking at the pictures on the J-day website and seeing guys 30 feet in the air riding like it's Supercross kinda scared me away being I am a C rider. Then however, I saw some helmet cam videos of more "normal" people and the event looked like a lot of fun.
A few years ago I was riding Netra enduros. But got busy with a bunch of life like owning a business and working on other projects. Was planning on participating in the last few enduros this year, but a tree got in the way and I woke up two days later in the hospital. Hopefully I'll be ready for next year. Perhaps we'll see one another out on the trail.

You got it Mark! The J-day's are awesome. I race C-Vet which has a good group of guys that have to go to work on Monday.
I like that I get to race my moto in the morning then watch some awesome amateur and pro motos and then race again in the afternoon. Also, these tracks are not too motocross in my opinion. The trail sections get very rough after the pros shred them. If you ever want to ride some trails down here in the Springfield area get in touch. Later.
