• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Don't have time right now for the big write up, but this can't wait!

Andy wrapped up his GNCC 200 C 16+ Class Championship and the AMA Racing East Hare Scrambles 200 C Class Championship on the 1-2-5!

Did it on Sunday at Loretta Lynn's by taking the OVERALL in the morning race, did I mention; on the 1-2-5!

Absolutely smokin'…

Check out the names in the top 11...classic!

Great job! He finished off the season with a bang.

The class champoinship is something, but the overall in the morning race is pretty killer, too.

What a great year and special race to finish! :applause::thumbsup::cheers: Congratulations to Andy and the pit crew. I bet he can't wait until next year.

Yeah, I saw that black racing suit and the numbers 105 on a hot rod Husky screaming by me. My boy and I were sitting at the water crossing where they go across after hitting the motocross track. Saw him take that a couple of times. He parted the seas and kept rolling, didn't seem to slow him down very much. I thought he looked smooth and on the attack. Saw him a few more times on the motocross track and fun to watch.

Glad to hear he did alright, I didn't catch when they were talking to the winners for that group. Very interesting and fun to watch.

Congratulations to the rider and the Pit crew.

In Friday's race Andy finished 2nd and 12th OA. Put the top two in his class in a tie for points...winner on Sunday would take the championship...
I told Andy theres nothing like waiting til the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and 2 strikes to hit the walk-off homer!

Thats fantastic! Better yet that he beat my riding buddy Mark Patterson who was in fifth! That is who I was going to send my bike over with for you to have a spare.

This kid is super fast and consistant. I have watched him come a long way in a short amount of time this year and he is going to be one of thoes names you hear every weekend in the big boy ranks at the Nationals. Congrats!! Super nice family and super awesome kid! :)

I know I can't begin to ride like him, but I think I am most jealous of that head of hair.

Wow awesome race Congrats! Not only winning the championship but winning o/a in morning race is a huge accomplishment! You should print / frame the results for him... Having his name on top with guys like Terry Cunningham and Dick Burleson is very cool. Also cool that Andy and TC put 2 Huskys in top 6 o/a of morning race on same day there were 2 Huskys in top 6 o/a of afternoon race.

And how bout Andy making Husky's official press release... I posted it today for Fred since he's still in TN.
