    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Power down and blinking red light on TXC 310r

Bike would barely start and run. Way down on power and popping and sputtering at low RPM. Bike feels like it was running lean. Red light was lit solid then blinking when I would give it revs. Did I mention it ran like crap. It is not gas issue as I was running same gas for last few rides with no issues. Sometimes bike would sputter until the RPM climbed and then it would hit and top end was dead. Had to run 2 gears higher to get same speed. Brand new 2013 with 4-5 two hour rides. Please help.
 
I am sure you are using ethanol treatment right? Seems unlikely if the fuel has been treated. Todays gas is prone to trapping moisture very quickly. Sucks and it's only going to get worse when they cram 15% ethanol down our throats. I hope you get it sorted soon.
 
I mix 93 octane pump gas (contains 10% ethanol) with 108 octane VP C12 (65/35). I doubt the problem is with the VP gas, but the pump gas is the question. I have a separate can of T4, so I am going to drain all the gas and put strait T4 in and see if it helps.
 
Emptied tank and put in VP T4 with some fuel injector cleaner. Ran the bike at idle for 10 min then went for a quick ride. Red light still on and flashing with same popping and loss of power. Will try to run it again tomorrow the same. If same then back to dealer on Saturday. I think the warranty is only 30 days on the TXC. So I am probably screwed.
