• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Police chase in Norway

This guy has no skills at all, i have never seen anyone that ride their bike so poorly. This guy does not even have a driver's license.

Police in the UK don't carry guns on their person (unless you count the guys in airports with assault rifles...). Probably just as well as UK cops are pretty capable of shooting each other / innocent bystanders etc.

unarmed cops?? what the heck lol thats just strange man.

They have guns locked down in their cars, but they have to get approval to use their wepons from the officer in charge of operations. This officer is placed in the policestation, and it will take some time for them to get the approval to use firearms in any situasion they would be in. If a looney suddenly draws a gun and open fire against them then they will find themself in a world of hurt.:p

i reckon so are all the civilians that are around the said looney aswell...not that im superpro cop or anything but they are there for a reason i think id prefer my cops to carry a sidearm. i mean they dont need a gun to beat the snot out of you regardless lol but if some idiot snaps id hope there is as little time as possible before someone is able to put a couple slugs in them.

Uh did you notice what happend here 22/7. one man killed 69 and wounded 66 persons within 67 minutes. I really think cops over here should have sidearms so they could protect themselves and the people that they are supposed to protect.
