• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Please welcome our newest sponsor, LT Racing! also known as LTR

Ain't that the truth! Not only does he intimately know every nuance of suspension, but he's a really nice guy and super-easy to deal with, too

Welcome aboard, Les! It is fantastic to have you here :applause:
I logged in to the all-new 610/630 forum first thing this morning and saw your nice banner...what a treat!

Welcome Les, I have already talked to him about the KYB 48 and I am sure they will end up there sooner or later. I think the forks are already going to be good once I get them dialed in. It's just after that I want to see what they are like once Les works his magic. Have to pay for a bike first..

Welcome Les I haven't had the pleasure of riding a bike on your suspension but this winter that will change I have two sets that will be comming your way.

Thank YOU!

I sure appreciate the warm welcome, especially from the quality group of members that frequent this forum. You have to thank Coffee for bringing this together, it has matured very nicely.

Many of you I have known for several years now and some of you I have had the opportunity of doing business with. I must say that the best thing I have experienced is getting to know each person I have dealt with just a little, probably because we all have something in common that we all truly live for (our free time adventures, or if we are lucky, daily riding) Not a week goes by for me that I say to myself, I really do have the best job in the world! Its because I have great customers that I can share with. Thanks to all of you!

I have been slow in getting on board being a sponsor, putting it off until I had time to update my antiquated website. I finally buckled down with my best friend Jeff (Oregon_rider) and have a good base to work with now and I'm able to add to it as I can. I hope it will be helpful and informative as I get more content up. I would really appreciate getting a photo of our customers RIDING their bike and a comment regarding our services if possible so we can post them up. I really want to get a picture of Tammy's 610 road warrior bike, its so badass looking, Great job woodschick!

Its best to E-mail me or give me a call, I'm always up to hearing from you. I'm oldskool like that. THANK YOU!

P.S. Shout out to Jim at BRP, the best clamps made.

(testa grande) How about LTR suspended 2008 TXC450 finishes 7th OA Sen B class in the AMA Nat H&H series. After doing only 3 of 8 races in the series. Set up (by request) is little bit plush for the Hi speed dez stuff (not my happy place) but shines in the rocky technical stuff (my happy place). Thanks Les for your work and for your aftersales support. Oh yeah and thanks to motosportz for hearing me in my waffling descision making about the boingers!! Nice to have multi choices for good services (see other sponsors). welcome LTR

Welcome Les!

Why don't you edit your post and put in your email, website, and phone number?

Welcome Les, probably wont use your product being in the land of Oz, but your insight, contributions and support are appreciated. Welcome aboard.

Good to hear you will be arouind here Les! I haven't talked to you after I got my bikes back together, but I took the 250 and 450 over to China Hat last week and WOW. Really liking them.
I'm almost starting to think I'm kinda fast.

Thanks, Les! I wouldn't be able to ride it where I do if you hadn't agreed to do the impossible for me. I would imagine it's not often that someone wants their bike to be nice and tight for frisky supermoto on the street yet still be plush enough for the dirt. You came through for me with flying colors

I'll get some photos together for you as soon as I can.

BTW, I love that photo of you racing in 1972 :)

Always a pleasure to talk with you Steve! BTW did the prince of darkness (Lucas) bless you with a spark yet?

No, its no black art! Give me a call at 360-871-2259 or drop an E-mail to me les@lt-racing.com and I'll get you a baseline to work from.

It was the florescent green Hang Ten MX socks neatly cuffed over the tops of my lace-up MX boots wasn't it? Could have been the leathers (real ones!) or maybe the Bell Star helmet? Pretty Stylin'. My mommy dressed me!
