• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pictures of watercrossings

Stroud..East Coast Australia

Winter time down here now, the temperature is perfect for riding the rainforests. Undoubtedly the best time of the year to ride..

The first pic shows WallyBoys new Husky 450 at the start of tricky section of a high country creek bed

Yes, those rocks have been hand polished and then sprayed with Silicone.......

Just up around the corner I found Justin was waiting for me to hit the singletrail and catch up with the group...10 minutes lated we were caught in a monumental downpour. Had we been any later, the water level would have risen and we wouldn't have made it through the creek bed.

And done special just for you. It looks beautiful over there, though. Great looking trails.

Here's a shot from yesterday. That little creek will soon just be a rock dotted dust bowl. No, I'm not riding the TE. I want the new graphics to look like new just a little while longer.

A little bird gets a drink....

Then I ride through.

We've been getting alot of rain here. Went for a little ride last night. You can here my buddy breathing real hard after he had to push his KTM the last 4 feet. We then spent some time cleaning out his airbox and filter. No problem for the husky though.

Yeah. What part of the country (or what country) is that watercrossing located in?

Just outside St. Louis MO, Ok, here's another of the Husky in a shorter crossing.

The following photos are in the same area of Australia as Seahorses previous photos. The first one is a watercrossing after a bit of rain and second is the same creek a couple days later. It shows how quickly the creeks in this region of Australia fill up after a bit of rain !!!

Yep, coming from Devils Hole to the single track side.

I'm always crossing in the other direction from the singletrack. That little trail is about my favorite out there, except for the crossing part.:p:lol:
