• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics of your 610!

Howdy all- thought some might like to see a couple new additions to my 610. UFO "Baja" rear fender, Cycra "motard" front fender, Guts racing seat. Also got the Easton exp bars so I could ditch the crossbar and stick my GPS on there.

Hot dang, that's a nice looking machine! I really dig the blue and yellow

Have you got a better photo of the front fender? Maybe be one taken from the front or an angled shot of the front?

I'll get a pic of that for you tomorrow, Woodsie! I know we ride the same area, lets hook up! Sunday I did Bohemian, River Road, West Dry Creek, Skaggs and the 1 back to Coleman Valley, Chileno home- SOLO!

Here's a nice one out at the coast (before I did the seat).

Made it to Skaggs yesterday.

Still all stock. Did 240 mi in about 8 hours yesterday - SF to Skaggs/Dry Creek Rd and back. Clutch cable stretched enough by 190th mi to start killing the engine before turns, at which point I just rolled over onto the highway... Maybe this hooligan is telling me to stop slowing down? :D

Nice !! So I take it that will be the last ride with stock
motor? Give us an update once you get that LV Pipe and all the other
goodies installed.

Rim update.

Just updated the rims on my 05 610SM.
Had a local wheel builder do the setup. Few mods where required.
Very happy with the results.
Complete with 5" Rear.
Still unable to find any type of sticker kit, she is lookin a bit rough around the edges had her since new, however I do like the look of eagledrivers design.

Nice looking machine! Did you turn around at the bridge or keep going to the coast? I've found Stewart's Point (and all the other goaty roads out there, like Tin Barn, Hauser Bridge, etc.) to be more fun on my 610 than Skaggs, but maybe that's just because I rode Skaggs on sportbikes for so many years
