Nice stand.....
I think you're going about that repair all wrong, as I don't see any empty Corona bottles in the background.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Don't you know your supposed to rest the frame rails over the arm of your living room couch for such an operation!xymotic;97545 said:

Discovered leaking fork seal.
Decided I had enough on my plate so called Les at LT Racing.
A revalve is just a little more than a fork seal, so what the heck...
So I pull the forks.
Since I got the fender off, I guess I better get a new one to 'fix' the rough looking one.
Heck, the front end is off the bike, I might as well fix my bent bars and 'look' at the triple.
Since I'm getting new bars, it would be silly not to add heated grips.
The triple came off with NO tools. Nut was snug, but I wouldn't even call it finger tight
So I guess I better order up a new bearing just to be safe.
Well, if I re-valve then I better do the rear shock too.
If I'm gonna do the rear, I spose I might as well drop the swingarm and lube them bearings.
Got the Lynx off and discovered headlight bracket is broke on the 'other' side from the one I already fixed, so I get some fiberglass stuff out...
Now, thinking about my busted reserve light, and since I have to commit to a weight for the suspension, wondering how hard it'd really be to mount a remote fuel pump and an IMS.
Yeah, should done this before the sun came out...
