• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hear's my money shot of me introducing my knee to asphalt for the very first time. Total Kodak moment for me, almost crashed in the next corner because of the celebration going on in my helmet afterwards. Only took me twelve years of riding and my 4th bike, my new to me Husky, to get it there.

And to top it off, my brother and long time riding buddy was right behind me to share in the moment.

Here's a little bit from the 3rd session of my track "night" with SportBikeTrackTime.com at Nashville Super Speedway this past weekend. My camera broke at the end of this video, so I missed getting any shots under the lights. This was my first track day on my SM610 and I loved it. Been riding a CBR F4i for 4 years at track days and this was a blast once I found my own lines to get around the sport bikes in the corners. Sadly, 2 days after this, we found out Nashville Super Speedway is being shut down after this summer and this may have been my last track day there. :censored:

That is awesome dude!! Is that thing stock? Good to see the Mighty Husky taking it to the big boys.

Husky Pride!!

Other than a Leo slip on and power up setup, it's all stock with a 45 tooth on the rear. I also weight 250'ish in full gear, so I was impressed with it's abilities and potential to get more out of it as $$ permit.

The cylinder is a tool box, I ordered the Alum tubing from www.onlinemetals.com and picked up the caps from the home center. As for the Wolfman Luggage rack, I build them in my shop and had it powder coated, I can not take all the credit Berg Briggs from Backroadsmoto is the Mfg of the Hoops but he nor Wolfman make a rack for the Husky, so after a few e mails Berg sent me the hoops and some 4130 tubing and I went to work.
