  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hello all,
Below are some pics of my 2010 Husqvarna TC250 race bike. I am still missing a few pieces from the bike (major items would be carbon fiber clutch cover, carbon fiber ignition cover, and Ohlins TTX complete rear shock). Enjoy!

Outstanding build Blake and glad you went with the red seat! How about a rad louver pic? Love the detailing throughout!

Holy XXXX********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************!

Did you change the red screws or what??

Yeah, I have put some serious time and money into this bike......:D. Sometimes I catch myself enjoying building/working on my bikes as much as I do riding/racing them.......if that could make any sense. Herpindo (Duncan), yeah most all non critical bolts have been replaced with anodized red aluminum bolts and most all critical bolts have been replaced with Titanium bolts. Thanks for the comments guys, I really do appreciate them!

Blake

Great work dude, nice attention to detail.
Has me thinking of what I can do to mine already :)

Question:

Where did you get the RED seat and graphics?

Decals/Graphics came from Decal Works (www.decalmx.com) and the red seat cover came from GUTS Racing (www.gutsracing.com). I will try to get some pics of the louvers up sometime soon. Thanks for all the positive comments guys, I really appreciate it. Now, if I can only do the bike justice..........

Wow! I love the graphics and seat...what the heck am I saying...the whole thing looks like a work of art. You're not going to get dirt on that are you?????? :D

Yeah, Blake blew out a knee, stripped the bike, sold the parts and retired from racing right after that.

Just gave up that easily. Hopefully he recovered because that was a nice looking bike wouldn't mind seeing what else is next. BTW with a bike that good looki g you better be fast!
