• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

That looks sweet. Did you tape off the wheels or take the tire off the rim. I am tempted to get rid of the expensive truck and get something like this.

3.00 worth of krylon, but they look much better than rust****************************************

just taped the wheels off with blue painters tape

My neighbor just got a enclosed trailer, I'll have tyo see if I can talk him int putting the gunsight on it.... He rides husky also. looks good!

Actually, if you say motovan instead of Husky setup I think it’ll be more inline with this thread cause I was thinking you’re going to show me how you setup the Husky…?

I’ve got one of those Chevy’s for my bike, got the extra long version so I can put the kayaks and bicycles in there too.. :D

So where did you get the huge logo from ?

What happens when you slam on your brakes?:D

Thoughts inside someone’s head accompanied by this music…...
" Does he just put it in gear and leave it on the side stand while he’s driving ??? Hmmm… I wonder how it works for him…? "

A bit too silly to be serious…
………but just in case you were (…god, I hope you weren’t…)

That picture was taken when I was checking if I can fit everything that I wanted inside
Yep, silly me like to strap things down when I travel :bonk:

So to answer your question; when I slam the brakes the van stops and everything inside stays exactly where I strap it

:excuseme:

You were joking right ? ( --> )

I Love it - now that's what I call budget factory. I am actually a little jealous.....love the big H is it your daily driver?

the course was very rough in the morning, wailed a tree at speed and crunched the headlight and got stuck a few times up to the frame, dug it out but it cost me a ton of time in that section, rode pretty hot into every section after that to try to make up some time and almost got caught for a burn, but we were able to scrub off 15 or so seconds to make the flip, and was having a good ride then came into a section a minute and a half early to ride the possible, good thing it was buried in the sceond possible, the trail was very nasty and we got a good jump, but got caught 3 tenths from the check,we were still 30 seconds early and saw the check, they saw me as well, tried to scrub the time, but the trail was s shaped and had no where to go,and burnt it by 10 seconds!(sorry crem!) the trail was sweet after and turned some good times,te last section was nasty as we rode through it in the morning and was fairly beat up,we had to ride up a river and i hit a hidden rock and took a swim! bike didnt stall and it wasnt very deep, but the video was rolling!! LOL!! finished and was glad it was over, finished in the top 20 O/A and was 10th AA?
