• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics of my 630 Dream Machine!

Thanks. LED signals need a new flasher relay, right? Got a line on that as well?

If just doing rears, you can get used to the faster flash rate. Fronts and rears won't work without resistors or an electronic flasher.

I just ordered two sets of these flashers

Expensive..yes...but I think they are going to be much brighter than the $30 ebay ones and I like the fact that they are visible from side and back rather than just back. Will give update when installed.

Had I found those first, I might have gone with them, hopefully they'll fit in the factory location in the rear for you.
The Ebay ones are pretty dang bright, and you can see them from 90deg either way.

They're $10 more expensive, not sure why you think they'd be brighter. Also, the signals are made by DMP but many dealers sell over ebay, so it's not like they're "ebay ones". I actually bought mine from Motorcycle Superstore.

Are those the stock rear blinkers, and if so, do you think they could adapt to my 11' te310? Nice ride!

Alert today, Alive tomorrow!

Dude your bike looks super clean**************************************** Good inspiration for the last few things i wanna do to mine, i really want those wheels

Am envious. But my 630 is well past that stage in it´s life. Like me, it´s growing decidedly tatty around the edges. So now I can concentrate on what´s left of our performance abilities.

Plastics aren't all that expensive... :D
