• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Parts for Magura Hydraulic Clutch?

dartyppyt

Husqvarna
Pro Class
Where in the US do you go to get parts for a Magura Hydraulic Clutch?

Be nice if the have a fiche or parts diagram to look at?

Thanx!

What ive found (for a clutch m/c) was to go to a KTM dealer, as some years of KTM used the same components.
If you find a smart parts guy, that will make the search easier.

you can call magura, they have rebuild parts for it, not cheap, My kx500 came with a magura hyd. clutch, weep ed at the master cyl. The price for the rebuild kit, and the fact I didnt like the clutch anyway, made me choose to go manual.

they are a Magura dealer just need to tell him what size master cyl you have (think our Husky one is a 9.5mm), I replaced one but dont remeber the size.

Also if you look in the Husky parts book for your model they list all the rebuild components and some parts are broken out for purchase. The rebuild kit comes with all seals and a new piston and is not expensive, call a dealer.

This is one of the add on ones that someone put on a WR125. Factorypro doen't have the stuff for the bottom. Very helpfull guys!

Thanx for the help. I called Magura direct since this is one of those add on clutches. The rubber part on the slave rod is not available. They are trying to get one off a new one to send to me. I also needed the lever boot at the master cylinder.

are you talking about the rubber cone shaped thing that goes into the master cylinder where the rod goes thru? If Magura can't help, I think I have an extra that should work. PM if ya want. A KTM rebuild kit should have that though...I think the kit is around 25 bux.

It is on the bottom slave cylinder. Rubber peice about an inch long that scrapes the mud off the rod that goes to the clutch lever on engine.

About the same for the rebuild kit, but thats only a couple rubber cup seals and a spring I think. 32 bucks for a clutch lever wow.

I really didnt like mine, the pull on it seemed the same as with a cable.
I bought some mineral oil ( thats what it uses for fluid) from a bicycle shop to top mine off and it was like 20 bucks for a little bottle.

You know mine is just sitting around, anyone wants it, shipping and 10 bucks it's yours, just pm me. I really dont think its worth it, but some people swear by them. It does weep a little but worked when I took it off the kx500, I dont know if it fits others though.

you guys I hate that lever boot I have installed 3 they always disappear!! I think they blow off on the trailer on the road??? I even worked a zip ty on the last one, and noticed it gone just yesterday!! And yea I will get another (safety wire this time!!).

PS my master is leaking past the seal again!!! My love/ hate relationship with Magura continues!!

Its diff. from what I was told, looks like Kelly wants it, he's the first to pm me.
