• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

fury1,
Hello, Where did you get the riding gear? and helmet?
Can't seem to find that outfit in the states.
We are going to have 4 or 5 National Enduros in the Southeast for the 2010 season, comeon down and try out our trees. Keep up the ride reports, Thanks

hello john, apparently you cant get the ProGrip husky gear in the states unless you know someone or are a factory rider,so I bought the gear from the site sponsor huskysport, and the helmet was from dirtbikebitz.com,I couldnt find nor could I talk anyone into getting or giving it to me,so I just went on my own and got it,very nice stuff and it appears to be way better quality than anything I have owned before,I will be running most of the 2010 nationals as of right now,and I cant wait to ride in the tight trees!! I have a few riding friends who have done alot of riding down south and love it****************************************

that Airoh is the s&*t, I love mine (stelt sen King wht) nice progrip stuff!!! look like one of the factory team guys!! nice. At the 08 EICMA the husky stand had the gear on hangers in their store, as well as a bunch of other signature gear as well as a Husky branded Leatt brace. Hope to see that stuff in the NA dealer catalog!
