  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Ordering Parts Online (clutch lever and mirror)

Appologize if this is the wrong forum.

Recently I had to dump my bike and damaged the clutch lever (well it got chopped clean in half) and mirror broke off. I ride a 2010 TE 250. I live in the northeast and there is no local Husqvarna dealership within 3 hours.

Anyone know where I could order these parts online? And which part will fit?

Thanks for the help.

Yeap' if you have no idea where to go Halls is the place for OEM to start.
Or you could get aftermarket stuff from about anywhere- no need to get oem if you don't want.
Search Magura Clutch lever. Easy especially if you bypass the safety switch- also there are ones like those from MME as mentioned recently in a thread meant to decrease pressure required.

as for the Mirror- They gave me 2 with the purchase of my bike- figured I use one on the left side and the extra is for crashes.:D But you can look around there too if you want- haven't priced the stock ones to know but many many fit. its a common 10mm thread. I had a mirror similar to the husky ones on my ktm they were nearly the same (for a ktm adventurer or something) those were exactly what I wanted at the time, then come to find out when I bought the Husky they came with them....also here's a new type that some are apparently raving about http://www.doubletakemirror.com/build/dirt I do like my stock foldable mirrors though.
