• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Oohing and ahhhing the new 2015 models.

I was on my way to the kitty food store, so I stopped in at Moto Forza to check out the freshly squeezed Husqvarnas they had just put up and rolled onto the showroom floor. Looks like some nice machines, and I was particularly interested in the two street legal models that they had. I liked the idea of the 350, but somebody who has ridden both, told me that he favored the 500 cc model. I would not care which one Santa brought me (along with a MV Agusta Brutale).

A couple of 14s mixed in the line.

Boy, if the 2015 didn't have the gunsite on the shroud I would think I was looking at a husaberg. Come to think of it I was. The 2014 graphics say husqvarna when I look at them though.

Kind of a shame to mess em up in the bush. They look too nice to be let out of the garage (or house)

at least the italians only discontinued the 2 stroke swedes, and kept making and developing the four stroke models. the italian deal was still bad

Come on guys, what's in a name???:confused::confused: Dirtdame, I hope you've been a good enough girl and Santa treats you right!

No the Italian deal wasn't really bad. It was chapter two........We now have what we have...............But yes we can thank the Italians for that...... I had two of those WMX 125's. Engine stamped Cagiva hec my 1990 ( I believe) said Cagiva on the engine and the date stamp on the engine said 1988.......footpegs etc.....said Cagiva..... I still dug them!!

Mr. Buzz Kill...now when ktm drops all their off road line and concentrates/evolves Husqvarna branded models like Cagiva did, then I'll buy one...don't see it happening tho' even if Mr. S.P. was quoted saying that the 2 brands would run separate R&D and develop their own identities ,sharing common components in the near future....fingers crossed but not holdin' my breath. I will say that the ktm/Husaberg looks mucho better dressed up in Husqvarna colors and logo!

The other day I noticed the warning sticker and it really got me upset. Another control power issue.......... Like Ha Ha I won...... I'll peel it off.......

In reference to Norm Foley.... Will it be plated? Dealer in NY or across the border to Canyon land?

I considered buying from a NY dealer, but didn't in the end, as the plate was an option, buying out of State. Canyon did not take Husky on, so I went to 6V in Bradford, PA. My old Husky Dealer, Fran Bottone, is now the service manager there.
