• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

OK WHY CAN'T I GET A PROGRIP HUSKY RACE JERSEY TO GO WITH MY PROGRIP PANTS AND GOGGLES AND SOCKS!!!

i heard the same thing on the jersey....either race team only or terminal backorder.

i think you qualify though...send Hus US yer resume...i think they need to open the doors for factory colors for more of our local racer front runners. how could it not help?? mreeep!

Good idea. I can try that. Last year for a moment I tried alot of different approaches to get one of these jerseys and it did not work. After this week I gotta get 2 work and make some money to fund all this so I wont have much time to look for a jersey, but I will try!!! Thanks!

(5) ideals you may want to try:
1. If your into having a 2nd pair of racing gear that is not Progrip. AXO allow you to create a factory jersey by allowing you to add logos. (Zipty Racing & Team Redbull KTM Antonio Cairoli runs AXO gear).
2. Check some of the online motocross websites (i.e. VitalMX, Racer X, Transworld, and etc.,) there is a company that allows you to create a factory jersey. By contacting them, telling them what colors, cut, logos, size you want. As far as the Jersey being a Progrip you can just add the Progrip logos. (it would help to email them a photo of the factory Jersey)
3. Check with some of the Pro MX Graphics companies in the US & Europe. These companies do a lot creating racing gear and bike graphics for the pros.
4. If you use Twitter or Facebook throw out a "Wanted" message for Factory Husqvarna Gear or custom design factory jersey.
5. Surf the websites that the Supermoto guys hangout on. I find they have a lot of "sick" parts & accessories! Holler at some of them they may know where to pickup some factory gear or get a custom made factory Husqvarna jersey!

I ordered the white guards through the local BMW dealer and got them in a week. That was last year. Also available in black. Work very well to save the paint on the frame.

All good ideas and I will try a few of them. Remember though the whole point is a guy should not have to go to this extreme to look like a serious guy on a mission!!! Thanks!

I will have to see them. Sounds like a good thing to have!

Any one have any leads??? Yes I have Husky race jerseys, but no they do not match my progrip factory style race pants and other stuff I have. When I show up at a race I am PROUD of what I am riding and will defend my brand. But why the heck can't I get a factory style progrip jersey like the ones seen in all the Husky brochures???????????? If I won the lottery, I would fly to italy and put 15 of them on myself and dump my luggage and fill it with gold (Husky stuff) Someone please help************************************************************************************************************************!!

Mate I have all the current Progrip(Husky) & a new set of the 2011 progrip gear as well. I got it from Justin at Tooper Lus, whom is on this site. If you contact him I am sure he can help you out, But it will cost you, as its very expensive to buy here in Australia. Thats why we buy from OS. Having worn this for a while now, its very good quality, but the gloves lasted about 4 rides.

just waitl the end of the next race, sneak into the husky pit and nab a grungy one when no one's lookin' and the beer's are already out. then sharpie over the name on the back and bob's yer uncle.

that was easy...

give Paul Lima @ GP Husqvarna a call. they's a factory store....if anyone can pull some strings they can. Also- Paul @ Tri County Powersports can help too...if it can get got those two can make it happen. TCP was lookin' into one fer me but the price was too steep for something that lasts a few rides before it's hammered on the accupuncture trail so i said pass.

also- i've gotten EXCELLENT service from US Husky's e-mail....shoot 'em one with yer resume and request.

Sounds good. I may have help getting one from Motosportz. If that does not work I will get a hold of you! Thanks!

It's lame husky does not have loads of this "advertising we will pay for" available in huge supply like KTM does. Lame.

You are right. I saw the writing on the wall many years ago with not having mini's and just not being organized. I was one of the few in my state that refused to jump on the orange band wagon. Husqvarna SHOULD be where KTM is today as in my opinion they have a better product then KTM (any KTM winers this is a Husky website so if that offends you, then to bad, ust my opinion and it is based off of years of experience)

Give Ridersville Cycle a call and ask them to e-mail you a pic of the Husky Jersey they have in stock. There number is 304-258-1449. They had 1 pro grip jersey sitting there and I am not sure if it matches yours or not. Worth a try though. Ask for Jason, tell him Tim told you about it. Good Luck.

Why put a jersey in a catalog and refuse to sell it to anyone but no more than a dozen people on our factory team? That's just stupid.

You make a super awesome one you PROVIDE your factory team with.

And you market and sell a really nice one to your customers. Perhaps similar, but lacking a couple extra flourishes reserved for the star rider

Thanks everyone for the help!! Got a jersey and Husky drink system coming from Mike at Motosportz****************************************!! Am stoked!! If my results are not as good as I hope next wekend at least I will look the part!!! For you guys on orange, give a late model Husky a try you may be surprized****************************************

Not quite understanding?????? Halls does sell one that is not bad, but why tease a guy and make it look like he can get it when he really can't???? You can get pretty much everything else. Looks like I got one coming along with the Husky drink system to****************************************

For the record, what I have been told by Halls is that it is a custom problem that is causing this mess. Who knows****************************************!!

I was referring to Husky putting the jersey in their catalog and then not shipping it to customers.

Cool, I hope it comes through! I'd love to score some factory lookin duds, but I don't think they come in American Fast Food Fed sizes.
