• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bit the bullet and traded the 610 in on a new Husky Nuda 900...What a fun bike
Have kept my 360 smoker for dirt time and was not getting the use out of the 610 so off it went...
I know this is a 610 thread but I just had to give the Nuda a plug!

Wow! Congratulations, bundyrum68!
Have you ever had a sportbike before? Really curious to hear what you think of it.
This is the bike that would make me buy another sportbike, for sure!

Hmmmmmmm --so i also let my 610SM go for a More Road orientated Bike. A Aprilla Dorsodura

Love the look of these new bikes and of course the Hooligan factor

Congrats --enjoy and ride safe

I would love to test ride the crap out of this bike and maybe if its good, trade my 610 for one too...but alas...
Here in the US they don't sale the Nuda900

Nada Nuda for US :banghead:

Only done 600 km's on the Nuda so far and it is starting to loosen up nicely...
This is my first sports bike so can't really compare it to much but have spent a bit of time on a Ducati monster but the Nuda is a lot more fun to ride! Really feels like a big super mortard.
First thing I noticed was how light it felt... I think with the fuel tank under the seat and the air box up where the tank should be the weight is all down low...the handle bars are the same as my 08 610 which also gives it that dirt bike feel.
I decided to go for the base model 900 and not for the 900R after speaking to a few people who had ridden both... Main comments were the seat is way to hard and the front brakes bordering on dangerous on the 900R!
Motor,Gearbox identical with the 900R running one tooth smaller front sprocket.
Getting approx 220km out of tank before fuel light Which is pretty good considering the hooning I have been doing...
Only downside I think I will have with this bike is how long I can keep my license :)
