As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Great plan, get your ass out here and bring Norm. What bikes you want me to bring for you?
If anyone does fly out and needs a ride from Portland then I can haul some bodies down on Friday morning and back on Sunday. I'm bringing 3 bikes and can only ride 1.... there will be no shortage of wheels to choose from!
Sounds GREAT!I m pretty sure a BILLS MC Plus first ,just going to be closed Saturday the 29th so my entire crew can be there and have some fun.
I've done all I can. There may be other things happening, not sure, I should know in a few days either way.I spent all day agonizing whether I should do something, or not do something - I did it... lets see what happens...
Almost done. need to soften up. Any rocks in the soft stuff that I should "Need to Know" with the big
front brake.??? I will check with the boss if I can get time off to travel??? May fly up... Shame the 510SMR is begging to ride with the dirt set-up. Stoppies in the dirt with the front brake and big wheelies with the 14/50.
Plan to see you all there !!!

One thing is becoming abundently clear - we are going to need photographer(s). It would be awesome if we could get some pictures onto places other than Cafe Husky... maybe somewhere official.. not sure.
My guess would be mid-morning on Saturday would be a good time for a group pic. I will also bring some Cafe Husky stuff and other items for people. We for sure need to set a time to do a group bike / owner shot as it is going to be a huge line of huskys.
- Motosportz Mike and I will be there Friday some time. I'm thinking we might bring some goodies to raffle off or something.

I am thinking about making a long trip out of it to see other people in the PNW, I might show up early.. Wed? Thurs?
