• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I'm in...There's a mess of weirdness happening at work right now, so I don't know how much of it I'll be in for. Hopefully it's all solved by then and I can be there in time for Bean's 50th ride. Very worst case I'll be a late Friday night arrival.
 
I'd like to see you all again this year.... PC and I stayed right next to stars last time we hit up bend... It wasn't THAT bad....
 
I'm in for Thu-Sun, Wed if I'm lucky. If I'm not lucky I'll be there late Wed night.
 
I will leave Salem on Friday as soon as David is done with school, we will be on the road by 3pm and have to be back for work on Sunday by 9:30 pm (Graveyard shift). Our trailer is staged and ready to go. We might have room for more.
 
I haven't missed one yet and usually get over early.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting new friends.:)
 
At the moment I have three empty slots for bikes for anyone that wants a haul from the Salem area.
 
I was able to take Friday off so I should be out there Thursday evening. Looking forward to putting faces with names.

Just thought I'd mention a few FYI's

October 1st to the 15th is the annual fox butte Green Dot closure (general deer season) it closes over half of east fort rock, all the good pumy trails to the east if the 2510 road.

Then the next weekend is a OMRA desert race being put on by LOBOS , the 18th is a poker run and 19th is a race, both events heavily impact the system, would be a bad weekend to ride.
 
Scott, That is why we do this the weekend after the Fall Classic! Please have the feds schedule some rain.

I wasn't sure on date I saw allot of ideas thrown around so wasn't sure it's official, hope it does rain soon!! If I have my new husky I might have to join you guys
