• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

North American Husky Rep - Contact Info?

Neil San Diego

AA Class
I bought a new Terra back in October. At this point I haven't even been able to get up to 600 miles on it for the official "break in". It's been at the dealer more that it's been in my garage due to consistent over-heating issues. They have replaced the radiator twice already, and are now waiting for yet another "known good" radiator. The dealer says that their hands are tied - they can only do the warranty work that the Husky rep authorizes. Seems like they should be looking at other possibilities (water pump, ECU,...?) in addition to just throwing radiators at it.

This needs to either get fixed (throwing another radiator at the problem IS NOT going to fix it!) or they need to buy the damn thing back. I guess its time for me to start getting in the Husky rep's face about it.

So the million dollar question is ... Where can I get contact info for the North American Husky rep? Is this rep the one pulling the strings at my dealer, or is there another tech rep doing that? Any info appreciated at this point.

Is Husky NA still in Murrieta, CA? If so, it's a 30 mile drive up the road from Vista...

That sucks though. Hopefully the dealer is going through the burping process, and it's not just a matter of even after they change the radiator that they aren't getting the air pocket purged.

I'm not sure who the rep is now since Andy took over the race team. I would email Scott at resmarket below and ask him. Jon Erik comes up as the rep for HNA and believe me, you do not want to talk to him :D
