  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

FE/FC No 4cs forks for the 14's??

I read the mxa review of the 2014 factory edition ktm 450 and they said the 4cs forks were twice as good as the old forks and that they were better in every way. I personally have not got to ride with them, but I have ridden the old forks and I didn't think they were all that bad. Every suspension regardless of air forks, or sff forks, or even yamaha's SSS forks need some work to be suited to each rider so don't hate them right away because odds are they can be made better for you. I went and looked at some new husky's in person the other day and they were pretty nice looking, but nothing special in my opinion. I was however pretty enamored with the 450 factory edition. The dealer I went to had 2 of them on the floor and dang do they look good. So much better in person then in just a picture. I got quotes on a factory edition and a 350xcf sitting beside it (just out of curiosity mostly). But the new huskys looked alright and im sure they will be an improvement over the previous years. hopefully someone around me buys one and I can give it a try.

We designed/patent a new anodized fitting for the 4CS forks that allows us to drop in 48mm Marzocchi Shiver cartridges into the OEM casings. This gives you top of the line front forks without the head ache of matching axles/calipers and for much less $$. It may even allow KYB cartridges.

What's the price of this out of interest , iv had a look on the website and can't find anything .

Save yourself time and money call Alan at Stilwell performance he will dial you in!i wasted time and money $750 at WP factory services they actual took out parts of their own design.
