• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Field of Dreams land officially purchased from City of Millville

NJMP prepares for highly anticipated off-road park; construction scheduled to begin next week

MILLVILLE, N.J. – In a major development for the region’s off-road enthusiasts, New Jersey Motorsports Park announced today that it has made a land purchase for the planned Field of Dreams off-road park from the city of Millville. The sale, finalized today, is effective immediately. “We have been working on this project for so long, and to finally see if coming to fruition is just a phenomenal feat and unbelievable feeling,” said Clayton Keeler, Field of Dreams managing partner. “All of the pieces of the puzzle are finally coming together and we are extremely excited to work with NJMP and create a facility like none other,”

That's awesome, won't be the same riding without the DEC on my tail then coming to where we park our trucks and handing out tickets. One dude pulled his pistol on me once when we stopped out of respect for him in the woods. We don't stop now.

Interesting. It looks like they may have singletrack, in addition to motocross stuff. I will be keeping an eye on this for sure!

I brought kids to Chatsworth and we had a great LEGAL time. I'm helping out another kid now and would love to go down and ride at the new park. R/R u don't want to live in NJ if you love dirt bikes.

I looked at that website a little closer and those rendered plans look nice ... Whoever is this behind doing all this, needs to go a 50 state tour and see what good they might can do other places ....

That looks pretty cool. I may try that when it opens. It seems like they have something for most people. I hope this works out and does not wind up like Chatsworth. The Green Police destroyed that place under the guise of saving the land from us... :censored:
