  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Ha ha...maybe I should do that too. Embrace the CAGI! After all, the big vehicle info sticker on the swingarm has Cagiva on it and some writing in Italian, doesn't mention Husqvarna at all. Ciao baby! :banana:
 
How is the parts availability for these bikes? I have an opportunity to pick up an 02 CR250 local that looks nearly new.
 
Just spoke with the seller. He says it has 178lbs of compression. Is that in the wheel house of "good"
 
theres a 99 wr250,been for sale forever,guy wants 1500.00 for it,looks pretty nice,but im guessing hes a little high on price and that's why it hasn't sold in a long time...nice bike Kelly!

Also very good bikes. If it is clean it probably worth about that. My first brand new husky was a 99 WR250. was a great bike.

That 02 cr250 on CL in the Bay Area is a nice bike . He sent me some pics and it is clean . I would have bought it along time ago but he wasn't willing to meet me at the Or/Cal border
 
Asking 1400 but it needs a few minor items, clutch lever and something with a rattling rear brake rotor?? Not sure on that just going by what the seller sent me in a video of the bike running. Seems like a solid bike and some wiggle room on the asking price too.
