• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

next bike ??? te310r vs new fe350

te450dean

Husqvarna
AA Class
Ok so looking a getting a new bike for the nsw enduro champs next year, been on my 10'te450 for awhile now and seem not able to ride it quick enough, just seems to never be stable at high speed, and hard to corner, maybe im just sh#t??.

But rode my friends klx450r and it was soooo light I could through it around like a mountain bike almost. Looking at getting my suspension set up by a race team here in aus, so hopefully it handles abit better for now,

but planning on getting something new next year te310 or the fe350.

I can get a te310r run out models for about 8k near new or the fe350 are around 13k new, not much selling second hand or demos yet.

always love enduro riding so want to keep it euro and always had a thing for the huskys, any help never riden any of these mid bore bike but herd good about both,,

Thanks guys help me win a rd on a husky in 2015 haha, 》☆《

If you think a klx450r is light, you're either 200lbs and built like the rock or the te450 might be a bit of a pig for racing.....;)

Try the te310r, it'll be like riding a mountain bike compared to the fat klx450r.
You'll be able to manhandle, throw it onto corners harder, ride it out of the corner aggressively and go longer.

The fe350 is a different bike entirely, no more power that I felt when I rode one, bit gutless to be honest, needs revs.
Ergos very different, ktm like but try both, you'll know then.
Proper Husky feels skinnier and lighter.:D

Ps, terry hay at shock treatment has these bikes suspension dialled like you wouldn't believe, he's in Wallacia

Nah only about 180lbs, pretty built but wish I was the rock haha.

yeah I was gonna go to ken wheeler at factory spec, my mate said shock treatment have moved to more road bike racing.

but I got my fork springs of shock treatment and was very happy with them

Nah , shock treatment have a designated Enduro/mx track. Get on to them, terry developed some stuff for racetech, genius.

He's getting mine this week.
